iPad users scared by Facebook closure rumours

Social networking fans with iPads will have been shocked by news that Facebook plans to shut down on March 15th.
Thankfully, though, the Weekly World News report appears to have been a hoax, with fears over disappearing photographs proving to be premature.
In a Twitter post, Facebook replied with a joke of its own to deny the speculation.
"We didn't get the memo about shutting down, so we'll keep working away. We aren't going anywhere; we're just getting started," Facebook tweeted.
It looks like iPads, netbooks, mobile phones and other internet devices will continue to be used by people to share photos, tell the world what they are up and chat online.
