For the next six months, if you're at Charing Cross Underground station, why not whip out your netbook or iPad and make the most of the WiFi?
Transport for London (TfL) and BT have teamed up to provide the service for Openzone users, so if you're on BT Broadband, O2, Tesco Mobile, Vodafone or Orange, you should be able to use the service for free.
However, at the moment the service is a bit limited – you can only make use of it in the ticket hall area and on the platforms of the Northern and Bakerloo lines.
If it proves successful, TfL may be able to unleash it across the network in time for the Olympics in 2012.
If you're excited about the possibility of getting online whilst underground, why not splash out on a new netbook or iPad from PurelyGadgets.
