With Photokina well under way in Germany we'll be bringing you photography fans all the very latest news and products from the digital camera world.
But while many manufacturers are showing off their most up to date digital cameras and camera lenses, Fuji has decided to get all retro on us, offering up their unashamedly Rangefinder-like Finepix X100.
Although the outside may look sophisticatedly old-school, the inside of the X100 is jam packed with technological gadgetry that successfully delivers exceptional quality photography for such a compact camera.
Most notable is the "hybrid-viewfinder" that combines a "bright frame" film-camera style optical system with the electronic viewfinders found on modern DSLRs, allowing the user to switch instantly between them.
The lens is a 23mm with a widest aperture of f2, the chip sports 12.3 megapixels and of course the X100 also shoots in full HD camcorder mode.
