Digital cameras become more sophisticated everyday and the ground between the DSLR and the compact is beginning to seriously blur.
Take Samsung's latest offering for example, the Samsung NX100.
This Micro-Four Thirds camera lays down a serious gauntlet for other manufactures and continues the trend for high-spec mirrorless digital cameras that could see many ditching their DSLR.
With a beefy APC-S sized 14.6 megapixel sensor, 720p video recording in H.264 format and a sizable AMOLED screen, the NX100 certainly adds value compared to its predecessor the NX10.
For serious photographers there's lots more to admire as well, with an ISO level boosted up to 6400 and an interchangeable camera lens system with four removable optics.
