Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2 Body Only (Black)
£559.90
Now ever since Avatar hit the cinema screens, 3D has been the next big thing, but creating your own 3D movies has got to be even cooler than watching them.
The only snag is getting the kit to do it.
There are a few options available, most noticeably Panasonic's ultra sweet 3D camcorder the HDC-SDT 750 which will be available later in the year, but before you snap up that bad boy, there could be another option for anyone with a Panasonic sub-DSLR.
That's because owners of cameras such as the G2 will soon have the option to add 3D capability to their existing device through an interchangeable 3D lens.
The Micro Four Third lens joins the line-up of swappable lenses that make up the Lumix G Micro System and its twin-lens now adds the capability for high quality 3D.
The compact lens simply bolts onto your existing camera, letting you instantly shoot in 3D without any distortion or time lag between the left and right images, even when capturing moving objects.
No word yet on pricing, but it should be out by December. Just think, this year's Christmas videos could be jumping out the screen at you – it might even make them actually worth watching!
