Panasonic shows off 3D camcorder

Ever dreamed of making your own movies in 3D? Well, Panasonic has unveiled a 3D digital camcorder, which could put the power to make 3D movies into the hands of everyone.
Well, maybe not quite everyone. At the moment, the Panasonic AG-3DA1 is on the market for around $20,000 – but a smaller version, the HDC-SDT750, is due to start selling in October in the USA for $1,400, or about £900.
To date, the cost of the technology has stopped 3D from making it into the digital camcorder market.
But the success of big 3D movie blockbusters such as Avatar have put it back onto the public and the camcorder companies' agendas.
