Barnes and Noble have launched their new, Wi-Fi version of the Nook e-book reader.
It's a new addition to us here at PurelyGadgets – Barnes and Noble say it offers you the opportunity to browse the web and shop at their eBookstore of over one million e-books, periodicals and other digital content.
This makes it a great handheld product that's flexible enough for not only you to enjoy, but partners, friends and the whole family as everyone can look at and have access to content of their choice.
The Nook has 3G connectivity, making it really fast. Text appears as crisp as the printed page, so you can read comfortably for hours.
Its 2GB memory means you can store up to 1,500 books at one time, an ample amount for anyone, if you're away from home for long periods of time without internet access.
It has a stunning full colour touch-screen and only weighs 12.1 ounces, less than the two or three books that you might usually travel with – a really useful little gadget.
