The Nikon D3100 digital SLR camera has plenty of admirers, including none other than chat show diva Oprah Winfrey.
Oprah calls it "the ultimate camera from the ultimate camera makers".
The Nikon D3100 has all the gadgets a camera pro would want, including high-definition video, but it can also be a simple point-and-shoot.

She certainly has a point - with 14 million pixels it packs all the punch of a top-level SLR, while being so simple to use that even a Jerry Springer guest could take a picture with it.
