The power of the PC could soon be coming to mobile phones from the likes of HTC, Nokia and LG.
Chip maker Intel wants to get into the smartphone market and said that by the end of next year its Atom processor will be included in some mobiles.
"You will see smartphones from premier-branded vendors in the marketplace in 2011 with Intel silicon inside them," the firm's chief executive officer Paul Otellini revealed.
If you can't wait until then, PurelyGadgets has loads of great smartphones to choose from.
The Nokia N900 is one well worth a look.
Perfect for busy people who are often out of the office, the phone has support for syncing Microsoft Outlook contacts, calendar and notes.
And with a slide-out keyboard and 3.5-inch touch screen, the Nokia N900 looks the part, too.
