HTC moves to become a provider

HTC are aiming to become more than just a maker of phones – they're looking to provide their customers with a service too.
The firm's first offering is its own cloud service, called Sense, which will help users back up data and locate missing handsets.
People who have got new HTC handsets, like the Desire HD or Desire Z, can register for the service, which will allow them to customise their handsets, back up their content and buy applications.
They'll also be able to make the phone ring louder so they can hear it, advertise a reward on the locked screen if their HTC goes missing or remotely wipe the device if it's totally lost.
