Fans of the Ubuntu operating system are now able to get the new version on their netbook or desktop.
Ubuntu 10.10 – also known as Maverick Meerkat – was released yesterday, the 10th of the 10th 2010, and is available to download for free.
The new iteration focuses on integrating mobile access to other devices via Ubuntu's personal cloud service, share sharing things between netbooks couldn't be simpler.
The cloud service, known as Ubuntu One, has a number of new features too, such as the ability to buy software directly and sync files with devices running other operating systems.
