Facebook 'may be one-stop communication stop for iPad users'

Virtually all iPad users are probably already using Facebook on a daily, as the social network phenomenon continues to grow.
The latest addition to Mark Zuckerberg's empire is Facebook Messages, which one social media expert reckons will be a one-stop shop for communications in the future.
Mari Smith, co-author of Facebook Marketing: An Hour A Day, argued that the new integrated messaging service will be "the primary portal of choice for millions of users to exchange communication in all forms", whether that's via email, instant messaging, SMS, or even voice.
The 500 million-strong social network is also launching its @facebook.com email address.
