Has Sony's newest handheld, the PlayStation Vita, got you gamers hot under the collar in anticipation? I know I'm excited.
But a new revelation by Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studio's head Shuhei Yoshida suggests that one of its key features was almost dismissed.

Yoshida told Famitsu that this element almost didn't make the design cut because of fears it would bump up costs, but trying out the feature quickly changed Sony's mind.
