Imagine the scene. You're out for a stroll across a mountain range when one of your mates suddenly falls and hurts himself.
This was reality for one group of mountaineers, who had scaled the summit of Scafell Pike, but then hit difficulties when walking in Broad Crag.
However, to help a rescue team to locate them, the men reached for their camera and took a snap of where they were resting.
Wasdale team leader Richard Warren said that "having a photo really clinched it for us. It really did help", and soon the team were rescued and brought to safety.
So when you are next out and about, don't forget to pack your trust camera. You never know how much you might be likely to need it!
