Canon EOS 50D update?

News of yet another possible digital camera unveiling as Canon have invited the press to the launch of an as yet unnamed new product, thought to be the Canon EOS 60D.
The briefing will be just two days after the one by Sony to show off their new Sony Alpha DSLR.
If it is the Canon EOS 60D, then it will replace the now two years old Canon EOS 50D, updating the specs, possibly to 18 megapixel with 1080p video as well.
Another new feature that many photography enthusiasts are hoping for is a swivel touchscreen on the back.
