Anyone who has stumbled in drunk from a night out knows the danger of sending an embarrassing text message, and making booze-fuelled posts using Wacom tablets is no different.
Now, however, every lager-loving user of social media can download a free app that will put an end to drunken status updates.
The Social Media Sobriety Test from software firm Webroot will stop any night spent on the town being followed by a day spent on the phone apologising.
Able to work with the likes of Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and YouTube, the online breathalyser involves tricky tests such as typing the alphabet backwards, which is tough enough at the best of times.
