According to a report on Reuters, Nintendo Wii have been outselling the Sony PS3 in Japan by nearly 4 to 1. This is certainly surprising news to me as I’ve always thought of the Wii as being a more fun console with PS3 being the more serious gaming console. It may just be the games available on Wii are more suited to the Japanese market. Because the Wii definitely comes across as a more family oriented console where people of all ages would find it fun whereas the PS3 has that high tech feel to it which caters more to the console enthusiasts. Not to mention Wii has more games. But PS3 is now catching up though with more new titles coming up to exploit the full power of the PS3.

Where does Microsoft’s Xbox feature next to these 2? Well it seems they are struggling in Japan and struggling to match up to the Wii and PS3. Wii has the fun factor going for it while the PS3 has blu-ray. What does Xbox have?
