There have been reports floating around the web of Nanos catching fire and the Touch’s screen burning.

This article from MacWorld talks about a guy’s Nano catching fire inside his pants pocket. Ouch!

Then we have 2 separate incidents of the screen of the iPod Touch burning up from the inside. These 2 unfortunate souls sent Engadget their pictures to share their pain with all of us.

I don’t know how authentic these stories are as all we can see are some blurry pictures and no email evidence but then I would hate to see my brand new Nano or Touch suffering a similar fate. Not that I have any of them.

Anyone unfortunate enough to have similar expriences with their iPods?
