About Us
Resident Blogger
I am a former IT professional who got tired of looking at lines of codes all day. I decided to do something different and what better way to do it then to write about the things I like for a living.
Well what are my qualifications to be a Gadget Guru? Well if you consider experience in DIY PCs, spending loads of time in forums and technology sites reading up on the latest developments and reviews of products, as the requirements then yes I am qualified! But seriously I am one of those people who will do loads of research online for whatever product that I am interested in getting. And with the amount of gadgets I have at home, you can imagine the amount of research I have done. And with my computer engineering background, it just makes understanding these things much easier for me.
So here I am, invited by PurelyGadgets to rant and rave about the the issues I have encountered (or read about) on gadgets and other electronics stuff (i.e. write a blog on gadgets and technology). I hope everyone (or at least someone) will find my posts interesting and hopefully help them in their decisions on what new gadgets to buy (or in some cases, if they even need it). But one thing to remember is, all posts I have written are based on my own biased view of the world.
Do leave comments if you find my posts interesting or helpful or just a load of rubbish. I appreciate any feedback you have. If comments are insufficient, start a thread in the forum, I’ll be there to join in the discussion.

With over 15 years in the IT industry as an IT Manager and Information Officer, I have been lucky enough to be at the bleeding edge of technology growth. I am ostensibly a software expert with wide knowledge of Microsoft products and have been known to beta test the odd operating system here and there. I am the typical geek sheik type with converse trainers and suit jacket going to work on a skateboard. I adore anything new, and have an extensive list of gadgets which are updated, renewed or cast aside as the next ‘new thing’ hits the shops. I love to take photographs with my new Canon EOS400d Rebel SLR and also like to write.
