The ultraviolet light that is particularly strong by the seaside, or in the mountains can create vague patches or make the colours pale. This ultraviolet filter will prevent these rays from filtering through, giving a clearer photo with greater contrast and also protects the lens. In addition, the High Transmission Multi Coating (HTMC) on this filter means it is coated with 4 anti-reflexion layers on each face. A very supple light thus passes through the optic lenses of the camera. The result is a clean image, with clear imrpovement in contrast and colour saturation.
